Product details
Latin name: Eleutherococcus senticosus
Common name: Siberian Ginseng
Family: Araliaceae
Form: Full Spectrum Concentrate
Concentration: 1000mg dried root per 1ml
Dosage: 5 to 15 drops
Primary indications:
Tonic for body and mind
Siberian ginseng is a tonic for the entire system. It makes both physical and mental processes more efficient. It reduces the effects of stress without causing a sedative effect. It's very suitable for people going through periods where high demands are placed on them and it's difficult to find much free time. This allows them to complete necessary tasks more efficiently and with less stress (which also saves energy). It's also effective for physical and/or mental weakness due to prolonged periods of stress, old age, or other causes of a generally weak system. If chronic illnesses refuse to heal due to such weakness, Siberian ginseng is often the recommended remedy.
Secondary indications:
Caffeine withdrawal
It enhances the effects of caffeine and can therefore help reduce the dosage. When using Siberian ginseng, be careful to consume significantly less caffeine to avoid adverse side effects.
Hormone stabilizer
When the hormonal balance is out of balance, mainly caused by a lack of energy as stated in the primary indication, it helps to improve various hormonal complaints such as impotence, lack of libido, menopausal complaints and prostate problems.
Improves mood
When lack of energy causes feelings of depression, Siberian ginseng can improve mood through its tonic and hormone regulating properties.
Warnings:
Can cause feelings of restlessness in high doses, especially in combination with caffeine
Contraindications:
Do not administer if you have high blood pressure or heart rhythm disorders, do not administer during pregnancy
Interactions:
Siberian ginseng can interact with many vitamins and medications, such as NSAIDs, cardioglycosides, barbiturates, medications that affect blood sugar levels, antibiotics (which may increase their effect), MAOIs, hormone-based therapies, heart medications, and chemotherapy. As with all plants, but especially with Siberian ginseng, consult your doctor if the patient is already taking medication.
