Passion flower (passiflora incarnata) is a herb originally from North America with calming properties. It is used to reduce anxiety, relieve stress and improve sleep quality. The main bioactive substances identified in P. incarnata include polyphenols, flavonoids, carotenoids, anthocyanins and other natural antioxidants. Several flavonoid and alkaloid compounds that increase the levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain, which functions as a neurotransmitter that reduces brain activity. It may also help to reduce symptoms of menopause and ADHD.
Our extract uses the whole flowering, as this ensures that we have the highest concentration of active compounds in our extract.
Suggested use: 2 x 0.5 ml (10 drops) per day.
